TZ-SAM is available under two licensing tiers designed to make the dataset accessible to the widest possible range of users while ensuring sustainable development. Academic institutions, non-governmental organisations, and government bodies can access the dataset free of charge for non-commercial research and analysis. Commercial organisations, including businesses, consultancies, and financial institutions, are licensed separately, reflecting the value the dataset provides in professional and revenue-generating contexts.

The commercial licence is priced at £4,000 per quarter (exclusive of VAT), giving organisations ongoing access to the latest releases of the dataset. The licence is worldwide in scope and non-exclusive, permitting internal business use, publication of insights and reasonable extracts, and access by third-party contractors working on your behalf.

Both licence types are non-transferable and prohibit redistribution or use of the dataset to train AI or machine learning models that replicate its contents. Free licence holders gain access following email verification, while commercial orders are processed via a self-serve checkout with invoicing issued after order acceptance.
