Ali is a senior software engineer with expertise in Remote Sensing and GIS. He has ten years’ Python experience covering earth observation, data science, data engineering and backend infrastructure. Prior to joining Transition Zero he worked in tech-for-good roles and in the earth observation services sector. Ali holds a BSc in Mathematics from Manchester Metropolitan University and an MSc in Remote Sensing and Planetary Science from Aberystwyth University.
