Thomas Kouroughli

Lead Energy Systems Modeller

Thomas is a lead energy systems modeller at TransitionZero. He previously spent five years in policy and project management roles at German think tank Agora Energiewende, building tools including the global steel transformation tracker, the Agorameter and the pypsa-agora model. Tom was a co-author on a number of publications including the annual “Die Energiewende in Deutschland: Stand der Dinge”, and “Towards a collective vision of Thai energy transition”. Thomas holds a Master of Science in Industrial and Network Economics from the Technische Universitaet Berlin and a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Warwick.
